Peter Eckerline is a figure who has devoted his career and subsequent retirement to enhancing the lives of others. Following an impressive 39-year stint at Merrill Lynch where he served as Senior Consultant and Managing Director of the Eckerline Wealth Management Group, he chose to retire and direct his energies towards philanthropic activities and community service.
The Eckerline Wealth Management Group, founded and directed by him until his retirement, stood out as a pillar of financial expertise in the Midwest. His leadership was pivotal in empowering his team to deliver superior wealth management services to a diverse clientele, helping them reach their financial objectives.
Throughout his career, he earned the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC®) credential and was repeatedly named the top financial advisor in Minnesota by Barrons and other esteemed publications. Additionally, his exceptional performance earned him a place in Merrill Lynch's Pinnacle Club.
He raised his family in Orono, Minnesota, and takes immense pride in his three adult children. With a deep gratitude for his opportunities, he is committed to donating to organizations that aid those less fortunate.
His philanthropic engagements are wide-ranging. He supports entities such as Faiths Lodge, Pay it Forward, Abbott Northwestern Hospital Foundation, and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Fund. He also contributes to initiatives in his native Ladysmith, Wisconsin, and at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, where he completed his undergraduate and Master's studies.
When not involved in charitable work, he indulges in his passion for sports, including golf, basketball, and pickleball. He also enjoys fishing and relishes spending time outdoors, particularly at the family cabin or their home in Naples.
